My main bugbear is the rash of possessive book titles. It started innocently enough with Flaubert's Parrot, then a few years later we had Foucault's Pendulum. However, during the last ten years it has become something of a craze: Nathaniel's Nutmeg, Fermat's Last Theorem, Anil's Ghost, Nelson's Purse, Darwin's Dangerous Idea...etc
